The 18th ifva was ended with great success. This year the ifva Festival embraced the experimental spirit. We are much honoured to have worked with such a visionary and masterly world-class artists, such as legendary Hungarian computer animation master Tamas Waliczky, world-renowned Japanese director Naomi Kawase, new media artist Daito Manabe, Japanese creative team Open Reel Ensemble, documentary short film local director Susie Au etc.

ifva has always been an incubator of creative minds to further develop their talents. The results of the 18th ifva Awards has been announced in March. The two free screening programmes feature all the 18th ifva award-winning works, including brilliant works from local creative talents and their peers from China, Russia and Israel. Highly regarded by the veteran filmmakers and artists from our jury panels, these works are surely not to be missed!
