Cinema is perhaps the modern vehicle for myths. “CINEMA 2.0: Acrylic Dreams”, with works by four overseas media art artists: ::vtol:: (Russia), UJINO (Japan), Akihiko Taniguchi (Japan) and David OReilly (Ireland), creates a dream-like realm that explore, with different sensibilities and aesthetics, what myth is in this future – a future in which myth are for humans as much as they are for other products of science and technology like machines, computers, AI, and so forth.
